When Injustice Persists: Knowing When to Act and When to Let Go

In this post, I reflect on personal experiences with financial and customer service injustices—from unresolved billing issues to corporate stonewalling and online scams—and what they’ve taught me about when to speak up and when to let go. I explore how taking action can sometimes bless others and bring closure, but also how holding on too long can cost more than it’s worth. Through it all, I’ve learned that striving for justice doesn’t mean letting bitterness take root. Drawing on scripture, I share how acting in wisdom (D&C 58:27–28) and then learning to “be still” (Psalm 46:10) is a faithful rhythm that brings peace.
